module 10

I must say i found more interest in the use of wikis than nings due to the use of wikis in the college by a significant number of classroom teachers. the wikis are welcoming and engaging for the boys and certainly encourages collaborative work and suggestions. wikis will also allow easy access to information that is needed to be on hand. some of which can be accessible for change and other areas just for given information. Nings certainly allow similar activities but was not as easily navigated and i believe it costs why pay

module 9

scottle is a great way to find engaging resources for the classroom it is easily navigated and allows for a broad range on many topics. This has great application in the classroom and wonderful possibilities to adapt for innovative assessment tasks. This was my first look at twitter and found it an interesting way of following up to the moment areas of interest to me and social comments. one day i may even start a twitter of my own for those interested in following my conversation

rss is a great way to save time and instead of going looking for anything new it comes to you, it has a great potential to have this new information in a easy format and when you have visited the page it clears the information . this clearance method is useful so that information does not clog up. students use can allow for information to be easily shared with a teachers students can inform of completed work / entries

module 7

the delicious bookmark has proven to be a very easy method of being able to bookmark and retrieve information for reference. currently i have bookmarked two key sites and will further build up the book mark around web 2.0 use and educational sites. these will also be helpful as a further area that can be an effective resource.
i would encourage both students and teachers to use my delicious to share educational sites, teacher resources and continue educational dialogue
